This car would look great in a stanced-out, hellaflush style. I can't wait until this rust fever disappears from model-making, every model looks the same.
I dont know- there is vast amount of models made to look like the cars just left the car dealership. There really isn't that many good rusting vehicles out there. I like this style of modelling, a s it offers opportunity to realisation of different textures, which aren'y available for gloss coat modellers.
Yes, I agree with you that there are also too many miniatures like that. It would be good to see the construction of a realistic and detailed car model. Tuning in this case is just my preference, but it would be good to see a car kit with dirty engine bay, dirty interiors, worn tyres, etc. I'm just tired of seeing rust in tanks, ships, planes, cars, accessories, everything rusty due to the overwhelming popularity of MIG and AK products. There are too many models being made to promote modelling products and specific techniques, what happened to representing history, a specific event or life in general?
It will be the model representing specific event- rotting carcass of a once great looking car. And i will be using all available to date techniques- the Satoshi Araki lifting rust technique, the hairspray, and salt technique, the Idea Pattina structural rust technique, you name it- it will be there. Hope you gonna enjoy the trip. I will test the moss making technique also- hence the theme.
