Rotten frog- groundword

I wanted the car to look like it was abandoned in the woods.
Started by spreading thin layer of Woodland Scenics Mould-A-Scene Plaster mixed with little of brown paint, and some earth pigments.
On top of that i set the car, and scattered the twigs around.

Forrest floor was made from shreded leafs.

  1. amazing, as always, but a bit surprised that there wouldnt be any "rusting through", on panel joint and bottom.

Maybe its just my region's climate, but i'm used to see such car with the lower 6" metal completely gone.

    1. Hi Enkiel. The bottom of the car is going to be covered with the loose scatterings of the forest floor anyway, so i it wasn't necessary to perforate the lower parts of the car. In normal conditions i would do it, but now i can get away with it.

  2. Great looking scene! I'm working on a rusty Chevy truck at the moment, so this is some great inspiration!
